I select mine in a text file before the thread starts. I am always staggered by how many fantastic shots I've missed - and this week I went through twice. And thanks Luiman for noticing one of mine.

Several from dotur caught the eye this week.
Two portraits in particular - very different but with similarities.
The first because of the restricted colour palate and the composition, person within the frame.

The second photo because of the fun involved in posing, and that the fun is transmitted to the viewer, partly with the caption.

Found in "The Wall Thread". There are so many superb photos here that it is a shame to pick out just two - but these really struck me.

Many thanks to:
Keith,
Rogrund, Tod.Hanz, lynnb, print44, porktaco, Richard G, jesse1dog and Arvay
for including 9 of my 35 photos among the gallery picks for the last week.
And thank you for browsing, comments and compliments... something must definitely be wrong with your criteria!

Regards,
Ivan

I like this photo of Petra by Peter^. It is difficult to find photographs that indicate the scale of this site. The lighting is like a theatre, with the temple centre stage and the audience in the shadows. Peter's whole series has been interesting.

Thank You,Richard Berter,porktaco,tigerphil,print44,Todd.Hanz and Keith for mentioning my modest efforts in this weekly thread. Usually, I do not participate in it, due to lack of time, but I try to post comments for the photos that catch my eye.
