Focusing manual leica lenses on a 5d mk ii

I am in love with my 50 summicron on my 5d mark ii. To the extent that I'm saving for an m6 with a cron(i once had an m3 and have missed it ever since). One of the reason I want a rangefinder again is I can't focus this damn rig! I use live view a lot to focus but I find it too slow. Anyone use a similar setup and have a good screen or something to help focus. I have the slightly more matte canon screen but it really doesn't help. I'm considering maybe an adapter with focus confirm, or a better prism screen. Any thoughts?

Haoda screen make a modified 1 series screen for the 5d which has a split prism - this is a good option.

Also, I'd advise on definitely getting AF confirm adapter otherwise, they're pretty good.

Focusingscreen.com also modifies other Canon screens with a split prism for Canon 5D and 5D MkII. I got one recently and is helpful to focus my Olympus OM lenses on the MkII.

I too was just talking about focus screens on my 5d2, for use with OM Zuiko and Contax glass. One employee said "no way you can use AF lenses with a split image screen.." The other said it shouldn't make a difference because the AF has nothing to do with the focus screen. Any thoughts on this? I was hoping to find a screen that helps to allow easier manual focus without interfering with AF lenses or metering. And I am using adapters with focus confirm chips, but it's not always accurate.
