If you finish a burst in continuous, does the camera have the grey squares in the viewfinder for more than a second? With the Ultra IIs, you get that, then the camera releases control to you and finishes copying the stuff to the card on its own. I'm not worried about how long it takes the camera to finish what it's doing; I'm more worried that the camera shuts you out (as happens in a more extreme fashion on the X100 when you auto-bracket AE).
Also, on playback, when you are flipping fast at full size, does it hesitate with the 45Mb cards? Sometimes it's slow going to roll back, say, 20 images.
The copy-back-to-computer speed is of little concern...
