Time to nag Sony: two NEX-7 improvements, feel free to pile on

I've noticed frequent firmware improvement threads around the web, but I suspect Sony never sees most of these. I've decided to try an experiment to see if I can bring two issues that firmware could fix to Sony's active attention.

I've created two new threads in the Sony USA Customer Support Forum:

NEX-7 Firmware Suggestion - Focus and Depth of Field Scales
https://forum.sel.sony.com/viewtopic.php?f=72&t=13725

NEX-7 Firmware Suggestion - Movie Button Remapping
https://forum.sel.sony.com/viewtopic.php?f=72&t=13727

I then emailed SonyListens@am.sony.com with a request that the pass the links for these two items on to the development team for consideration.

Now comes the fun part. If you feel these are useful requests, please log on to the Sony forum and add your voice to the threads.

Maybe a little polite pressure will work!

My biggest complaint about the NEX-7 Firmware is that it doesn't lower the price of a NEX-7 to where I can afford one.

Two or three custom settings would be nice (instead of having to set each feature individually).

And a lower energy consumption.

I don't own a Sony, but I'm speaking as the owner of a Canon 40D with a dedicated direct print button that has never been used since I've owned it.

A remapping update is a superb idea for the movie button.
