Vintage cameras in Tiffany store window

Here's a very poor cell phone pic of Tiffany's display window at 5th Ave and 57th St in NYC.



Peering into the display, I was able to see:

• Ricoh (with Riken Rocomat on the lens)
• Ansco Readyflash
• Wiklin (? not sure, hard-to read typeface on the camera)
• Zeiss Ikon Nettax
• Argus (not sure what model, has a Cintar lens)
• Perfex 55
• Tower plastic TLR
• Falcon (Utility Mfg. Co. NY?)
• Kodak Pony 135
• Kodak Brownie Hawkey Flash
• Argus Argoflex Seventy-Five

The sad thing about this is that these will most likely be thrown away after they are done being used for display. When I worked in retail that's exactly what they did they all their "marketing materials"

A store on broad street has a Rollei 35 as a prop in its window. Once in awhile I feel like asking someone if they'd sell it to me, but...

Sounds like the OP or someone else in NYC needs to find out who at Tiffany's is in charge of window displays, and to contact that person and say they will be happy to take those cameras after the display is done.

They have similar cameras on display as props in the Container Stores (operating in US in some states, I believe). One time a few years ago I asked the manager if I can trade the ones on display with some of mine (that will look really good as props).

The only answer I got was the "by-the-book" kind stating that basically there's not a clear corporate policy on a request like that.
