As more photos are posted you might notice some unique photo opportunities could be found.

I've just got back home and want to thank everyone, especially the Istanbul contingent

To Bob, you were right - the Matthieu Parey exhibition in the Institut Francais was well worth the visit!

Not sure how many rolls I have, but I might well go back later in the year too. Four weeks would be more appropriate than just four days.

Unfortunately I didn't find a buckshee 21/4 yet. Did it turn up yet, Kully?

It was a very nice meet an Istanbul is such a nice city. Needed some time to get accustomed to the masses of people in some areas.

Although I'm in need for a 21mm lens it's not in my bag.

I join the kudos to all local Istanbulers for the great hospitality they shared with us and Kully as well for the organization of another meet. Thank you very very much!

P.S.: Nobody could beat my negative record of just ONE finished roll (and two half way)...

Thanks to kully and our Istanbul hosts and guides for their contributions to a great gathering. I would love to see you all again at EuroMeet 2013 in Odessa, Ukraine or wherever it will take place.

Despite Kully's persistence in ignoring my communication attempts, it was a nice experience...

I did not get to see the entire lot of you, but I enjoyed the company of the few I met and the few I talked to.

Until next time.

Ok, I broke down, gave in, and joined flicker. I just couldn't face the extraordinary effort of deleting photos from my RFF Gallery to make room to post my photos. Most of my RFF shots have been downsized and I'd have to laboriously delete 3 to post 1, not worth the bother.
I've posted some that I've developed still have 4 rolls left to develop.
Now all I have to do is figure out how to link flicker photos to post on RFF like I've seen others do.

There's some good stuff coming from everyone. I've got loads still to process but I'll put a few things on here as I've no idea what my Flickr password is anymore.

Lluis (Sinetsin) and Richard (Semrich) chatting over coffee

Outside Kapali Carsi market during the heavy rain

A cat takes in the sunshine at the top of some subway steps

Whirling Dervishes

Sleeping in the sun...I think Taylan has a similar shot

At the bus station ready to visit the pigeon market

Taking shelter from the rain

Entering the pigeon market

Waiting for a bus back from the pigeon market

Just hanging out

I'll post more as I go through them and try and sort out my Flickr password so I can add them to the group, otherwise I'll put together an Istanbul gallery on my Zenfolio site: http://simonleephotography.zenfolio.com/
