We are quite similar aren't we? Actually mine is just going to be a pack film camera, one 4x5 rangefinder is enough and I quite like the design of the packfilm back already.

I'm a little curious why you didn't choose one of the models with the Zeiss rangefinder - I picked one up about a month ago for $15 and I've been modifying it.

Also curious how you're going to alter the rangefinder to work with the 127mm. As you probably know, it's set up for 114mm. I'm trying to find a 114mm Tominon in a Copal Press shutter but unfortunately it's not easy, they are rare.

Pretty slick, I'll be interested to see if the 4x5 negative is covered. I used a model 95 which makes yours look like a pocket camera. I had to set mine back over an inch for the coverage. You sure have a nicer lens than mine has too (mine is stock f/8.8 114mm).

I'll post some results asap. There's full coverage for 9x12 negatives, I'll wait and see about the 4x5 format.
As to why I didn't choose a nicer model, it's because these cameras are quite scarce in Denmark. And shipping + customs charges from other countries add to the price. So I just bought the first one that showed up.
I don't know how I'll adjust the rangefinder, but I'll figure something out. If nothing else, I suppose a few distance marks on the upper strut could do the trick.
The system with the aluminum rails works fine: no light leaks at all.
Keytar: Good luck with your project.
The Ektar lens is heavy, so the camera turned out a bit heavier than I hoped, but at least the shutter was very easy to service.

Finally... two decent shots from my converted Polaroid 104. First one on Fomapan 100 9x12, second one on expired Tmax 100 4x5, which looks a bit pale when developed. But it scanned quite well on my Canoscan.
