It's pretty funny, I've been thinking about starting this very thread, after seeing all of the lovely Mamiya 7 shots and thinking us 6 owners have been missing out...

Can I just add, that over the the past 4 years, I have bought and sold over 14 different medium format systems, and that the only one I have kept is the Mamiya 6 with all 3 lenses. It was probably the best camera ever made, and the lenses and resulting imagery - always impress me. And I've even shot it in the studio, what an amazing camera, that we are lucky enough to use.

Agreed. My favorite camera I think.

Here is a picture from under the bridge in Vandergrift, PA, outside of Pittsburgh.

The metering sucks, the plastic hoods invariably crack. I have left the locking slide on, too many times, and as a result, maniacally stabbed at the shutter release button, thinking it was broken. The lenses are slow as hell, the frame lines are not accurate at all. I am very, very careful to not cock it too hard and fast, as I have heard that the frame advance mechanism is particularly fragile, Still I love the damn thing, I will be buried with that camera.

I borrowed fellow RFF'er Calzone's Mamiya 6 for a day of shooting a while back. I used the 50mm f/4 lens.*
