Quick question about Nikon Ragnefinders
I've never used a Nikon RF but they look very nice. I'm curious about the focus mechanism. Can you only focus by the wheel on the top front edge? Or can you also use the lens barrel itself?
Thanks

You can focus on the lens. It only takes a minute to adjust.

Thanks. So is the wheel just a fine-tuning focus?

The wheel is another way to focus internal mount 50mm lenses and small wides.

yeah funny enough I had that exact same question lol.
the answer is that the internal mount and the wheel are linked so you can either turn the wheel or you can turn the lens by the barrel, both turn the helicoid that is built into the body.
