GXR M Mount Goes to a Wedding

I took my GXR along with my D3s' to yesterdays wedding. Of course they are totally different beasts but I wanted to see how the Ricoh held up under the most challenging lighting. The noise at the upper ISO's hold plenty of detail with very minimal smearing. I actually like it.

This camera is a lot of fun to shoot. The first shot is with the CV 15mm and the rest with the Summarit 35mm.

DNG's process in Aperture and BW's converted with Nik Silver Efex Pro 2.

Hope you enjoy a couple

Nice work!

In 10524, the rose eyes are a little strange. The GXR does pretty well with mixed lighting. But that green light could foil anything.

cheers

No place is boring, if you've had a good night's sleep and have a pocket full of unexposed film. ~Robert Adams, Darkroom & Creative Camera Techniques, May 1995 (I suppose that should now read: "and have a full battery and an empty memory card." Though that sounds so dull.

Thanks guys...I did a quick color correct in aperture and threw off the hue. I'll just lasso them and desaturate.
