Slow down, this isn't a damned freeway!

I found this hilarious speed limit sign on a dirt road in the hills just north of the former mining town of Cerrillos, New Mexico. Slow down, this is not a **** freeway!

This sign needs to be added to every speed limit sign in Fort Wayne, where I live. Idiot drivers here all seem to think that the speed limit is a damned minimum, not the maximum speed!

Ironic, but in Los Angeles, 20 mph is about as fast as you're going to go on any freeway at certain times during the week.

Traffic doesn't back up here like in LA. Everyone in Ft. Wayne, even the poorest people, own and use cars because we have basically no public transit, but the population is smaller and our roads relatively well designed so traffic congestion is not usually an issue here. The problem is so many people here think that quaint notions like safety and obeying the law are not for them. We need signs like this under every speed limit sign in Fort Wayne!

Ha! Same here. Love the sign.

IMO, it is the arrogance and don't give a crap attitude of most people in general. They simply do not care about anyone but themselves.

In my neighborhood, we are rising up against speeders here and it is making a difference. Too many pedestrians getting run down in Atlanta and too many accidents on the road...Time for everybody else to join the movement.

It's the same here in Europe , I drive a motorcycle most of the time and meet those people with bad attitudes every day . They seem not to care about causing an accident as long as they can get away with it .

I went on one last month. Shot the whole thing on film, so I am now slowly getting the film scanned.
