Smile Some pictures for you Canon lovers

My lates camera find:

The camera works fine but Im going to get it serviced anyway, just to be sure. In the last picture you can see te Canon P next to it's bigger brother the Canon FT SLR, wich is my main camera. Both are good looking, but I have to admit that the Canon P is sleeker.

Very nice! I'd love to see some pix from that little 35/2.8. A number of folks (me included) have the older chrome version. It would be interesting to see some photos from the later black and chrome like yours.

Is the black P original, or repaint?

If you are in the USA, may I suggest Essex Camera Repair. They work on all my Canon RF stuff. I'm getting ready to send them my new 25mm F3.5 Canon rangefinder lens.

http://www.essexcamera.com/

If that is an original Black P body, it is worth boku $$$

See Here for examples:

I'm seeing a speck of brass under that paint, which is a good clue.

Yep, it also has the white depressed dot on the timer and the black strap hinges.

I'm not in the US. The price l I got for cleaning the lenses was about $200 for each lens. Seems expensive to me...
