Good stuff Ruby-Monkey.
This is from my walkabout today. I'm having a blast with this camera. This is Vauxhall Cross Bus Station, next to a very secret building which I can't mention (oh, OK, MI6 headquarters).

It's hard to beat the big image area and sharp lens of the Fuji!

Guess where I (and my wife) used to spend my vacation during that time of our lives. She lived full time in a two bedroom apartment over looking the Marine.
Sorry, no pics to post from then. Too much time spend sailing the Marina sailboat.

Thanks "Divewizard" - I was quite surprised at how warm the Fuji 400H is - although I still think the lens on the GSW690 has something to do with it.

First scan with a v700, using better scanning holder
So this was my first 6x9 scan using an epson V700, and the better scanning film holder. I'm still playing around with the scanner, and dialing in the focus is a tedious task, but this image was scanned at 3200 dpi (I compared it with a 1600dpi scan, and there is a tiny bit more detail in the higher res scan)
The camera was a Fuji GW690III, which I love to pieces. You should be able to figure out the film type
Exposure was about 30s, I think.
Oh, and the city is Melbourne, btw ...

A couple of test shots from the first roll to go through my GW690III. NCPS scans, straightened and resized. Finally took the plunge into medium format
Overall I am very happy with the 690. My only real gripe is that they did not see fit to put a meter in it but I have since fixed that with a VC Meter II which is a really snug fit in the shoe (no chance of it coming loose by accident).
Unlike the GA645 the lens on the GW690 has some red-cyan CA. I removed it in Capture NX2 which had the benefit of sharpening up the side and corner detail considerably. Anyway here they are:
View from Bald Hill, one of my favorite test-shot locations. The brown blob over the water is a large bug that was flying around!
What's left of Cronulla Beach, at high tide, looking south.
It's worth clicking through to see the larger, 50% versions - I just can't get over the detail in those huge negs !

Kodaks' old brick of a camera (Medalist 1) with Provia 100F does a nice job with colour and the original tranny is sharp.A pity about it's size though.Regards,Peter
