nikon lens to xpan body?

I am toying with the idea of using a Fuji Tx-1 adapter( nikon f lens to xpan body) on my xpan. The purpose being, I can use the Xpan as a regular frame rangefinder with nikon f lens ln certain situations. I would appreciate any thoughts, pro or con. thanks, darryl

Hi Darryl,

This is a very timely post for me. Are you saying there is a ready made Fuji TX-Nikon lens adapter available?

There is a French website that features a 28mm Nikon PC lens with an adapter I did not recognize or know existed to fit the 28 to the XPan. This is notable because PC lenses have larger coverage than "normal" lenses and the Nikon 28PC is shown as covering all but the extreme edges of the panoramic frame.

Can you say more? I'll look for the website.

Thanks.

Giorgio

There is no rangefinder coupling and the Nikkor PC only covers to around 56mm.

The factory lenses are superb. I guess if you just wanna burn $$ on Nikkor lenses or adapters it's a good idea.
