I'm a hopeless case.

I just can't walk by a shelf with film without taking at least one roll with me. Thus, I just bought a roll of Elite Chrome EBX (although I already have one in the fridge), just because it retailed for a good price (€ 3.99).

Just a couple days earlier, I had to buy a roll of BW400CN, because I happened to be in a drugstore that sells it, because my last roll didn't turn out well and I wanted to try it once more, despite the fact that I currently have three rolls of different 400 ISO b&w emulsions in my fridge.

As I said, hopeless.

What about you? Anyone else with that disease?

I rarely find myself buying individual rolls of film these days. Although earlier this year I did buy a single roll of Kodak 200 at a little photo store in Yerevan, Armenia because that's all they had and I'd run out of film. If I see film at a good price I snap it up though. Have 50 rolls of Neopan 400 on order right now.

If I pass by a shelf with 100 rolls at nose level, chances are that I will buy them all.
I got to be seriously advanced then

If the film is being sold at a bargain price its hard for me to not buy.
A week or so I saw some Kodak 400 and 800 on the bargain table
for $2.74 and $1.74 per roll w/expiration date 8/12. Only problem
there was only 4 rolls left.

I just buy bulk loads of tri-x from fotoimpex or monochrom most of the time. I walk past these shops quite often, but only buy film from them when I can afford 5 rolls or more. last time it was 25.

I often buy my color film in boxes of 4 at the local drugstores. It's amazing that a single roll of 35/24 will be $4.69 and a box of 4 rolls right next to it will be $9.99 (and sometimes $7.99 on sale).

I like to use consumer grade color. Fuji or Kodak, both are great. I prefer Kodak Gold but they're all good.

I was reading another thread about a 99 cent store where they were finding Memories color film for less than $1 US. I would buy a basket full of that but I never see it. The 99 cent stores around me look at you crazy if you ask for photo film.

I miss Costco's 4 pack for $1.30 of Fuji Superia Xtra 400. But I don't think about the price, I just can't; it is my passion.
