New Retina IIa and first shots

Hi, i really like 35mm folders, find great the fact i can collapse the lens and put into my pockets, also love the mechs involved, find these cameras really atractive...and great for shooting too

looking for a "new" folder in my collection i noticed how in high regard there is among users the retina kreuznach Schneider f 2 lens.

So i jumped into one on the bay and after a while i was able to go testing it!

I am so surprised, when folks say itīs sharp they mean it!!!
Also is great that the advance lever cocks the shutter also.
All in all itīs a fantastic camera!
So iīll stop writing down and go directly to my firsts shots, hope you like them!

No sharpening or contrast added. Just some crop and white balance at much.

My 2nd roll will be some FP4, so letīs see what comes out of it!

Bye!

great shots. The IIa is a phantastic camera with a superb lens. I own both variations (regarding the lens) and must say that the Rodenstock-Heligon is as good as the Xenon. Give them a sund shade and you won't be able to find differences to the very best modern lenses.
