The Pentacon Electric 1,8/50 ...

... is probably a fine lens. But I have found that it is not the best choice for trying to focus up close on peonies on a breezy day, or probably any other moving target. It has almost 360 degrees of rotation from close to infinity.

I might have to slap the old Yashinon DX 50/1.7 on for shots like that in the future, but then I will lose the ability for open aperture metering on my Praktica PLC3.

Do all of the Pentacon/Meyer Oreston/aus Jena lenses have this long of a "throw", or is it just the 50's?
