Actually it's a reality to look at.
My friend sold 2 M9's and 6 lenses and uses the X100.
He's very wealthy and crazy. He actually carries 2 X100's.
Why, I can't figure out.

I wouldn't mind owning both. still, I'd use my M2s and M4 more.

First outing with the new camera, still getting familiar to it.

First keeper
First keeper with the x100. The leaf shutter causes absolutely no vibration. You can handhold at ridiculously low speeds if you prop it against something.

Thanks Richard. This was a very quick handheld snap in my room. I can use 1600 without any hesitation on this camera, and MF + AFL (as one-time AF) combination is working well. I feel like I'm shooting with MF rangefinder with the initial focusing done by camera instead of me.

I got the camera only yesterday so I got nothing special to show yet, but I did run into the burning couch and took pictures as the situation proceeded.
Check the rest of it here: http://themotions.net/wordpress/?p=2135

Awesome Shots here.
Yesterday I was listening to the The Grid If you feel like watching they start talking about it 53 minutes in.
the show is basically Scott Kelby the guy that publishes photoshop user mag he was talking about how unreliable the camera is. Im sure that it does have it's quirks but they made it out to be the worst camera ever.
