Short dated color film sell off?

There is a thread about the LegacyPro sell off. Does color film come up like this in large batches that is close to expiring?

If so, does it make the headlines here in the Film forum like the LegacyPro batches have?

Thanks in advance for any info or sites I can watch for this sort of thing...

No. Ultrafine Online used to get short dated film and sell it really cheap, but I think they're slowly running out of stock.

I've started only buying fresh stuff because I want them to keep making it! Vote with your dollars, etc

I strongly agree - vote with dollars for fresh film, and with cents for expired film

be sure to check out "the latest flavours" like the Kodak Portra 400 and Ektar 100. This'll give these films a boost and send a message to Kodak about film in general.
