Zeiss Contax Forum for the classic Zeiss Contax I, II, III, IIa, IIIa , G series, and if you want to push it, the nice Contax point and shoots. Some spill over from the Kievs, the Soviet copy of the Contax II/III can also be expected. Plus the ONLY production camera ever made in classic Zeiss Contax Rangefinder mount WITH TTL metering ... the Voigtlander Bessa R2C.

Black Hoods and Caps

For those of you with the black G lenses, where, if anywhere, have you been able to find the GG 1,2,3 hoods and the GK-54 caps in black?

It's odd that B&H has the GG-1 & GG-3 hoods in black, but no mention of the black GG-2 for the standard 45/2 lens. Also no mention of the GK-54 caps.

You might try http://www.kyoceraimaging.com/contact.asp

Keep an eye on e-Bay, they come up every once in a while. Since, I believe, that the original Black Kit was sold with the hoods and caps (for the hoods) you'll eventually see them if you are missing yours- heck, they might even be from the same kit.

Ooof! I thought this was a call for all former Spanish Inquisition employees...

Funny... when I read the message I realized how lucky I am. My Contax gear is silver, but it still doesn't make lens caps or hoods any cheaper.
