Unborn calfskin is the only thing more supply than calfskin! If Luigi was smart, he'd be all over this

There's a lot of 'hoopla' in that add for a pretty plain looking camera strap ... and a lot of photos!

The words are well picked. They describe exactly what it is.

he got back to me with the answer to my question:

me: "Was the calf aborted specifically for the purpose of making this strap, or did it die of natural causes?"

seller: "Hi, I think it will specifically for the purpose of making this strap. thanks!"

That's disgusting! It's ruined my appetite for a Spotted Owl omelette.

I'm sure some group will find a reason to conduct a march or protest over an unfortunate choice of wording (and likely a bad translation software). They could have called it "veal."

I'd have one of these for sure but there's no listing for the OM-1.

The hat I am wearing in the photo above is made from newborn baby lambs, killed almost the instant they emerge from the mother. Its a traditional material for hats in the Caucuses and parts of central Asia and was popular with Cossacks as well. The Russian army adopted this particular hat from the Cossacks and the Muslims of the Caucuses as a hat for senior officers in the 19th century, and in World War II, Stalin reinstated it for that purpose in the Soviet army. Civilian coats and hats made from this fur is sometimes made from the fur of fetuses because some believe that if you wait for the lamb to be born, the fur is coarser. So, it does not surprise me that someone would make use of the skins of aborted babies of other species too.

I did not know it was made from newborn babies when I bought it 14 years ago for my collection of Soviet antiques. It seems very cruel to me.
