Oregon Coast via Super Angulon lens & M3

I mentioned earlier that I bought the Super Angulon lens. Folks here asked me to post images taken with the lens. Now I'd like to present them to you. They were all taken on an absolutely beautiful day at the Oregon Coast, specifically on January 3, 2011. Camera used was an M3. All of the scans came from Precision Camera, where I took advantage of their offer of free development with high resolution scans. I did not do any post-processing on these images and they are straight from the disk sent by Precision Camera. Enjoy!

I'm impressed! That looks like a great piece of coast to visit. What film?

Thanks for the kind words.

The film used was Kodak Ektachrome E100VS. It is film left over from my days of shooting my Nikonos V underwater. The film was taken to tropical destinations where it was subjected to heat and humidity, but never used and therefore brought home. It's been stored in the refrigerator for nearly 10 years. Amazing that the film still functioned fine and and was able to give decent images once exposed.

Nice photos. Keep shooting that SA. I'm in love with mine.
Also: Please post some pics in the SA thread. I like keeping that "sticky" at the top of the list.

Gorgeous, my family had our Summer vacation in Cannon Beach in the 40s and early 50s. We used my Uncle's house (north of Elk Creek), he was nice enough to let us use it for free. Now my cousin owns the house and I went back 10 years ago and stayed their. Cannon Beach has changed (as everything), but the coast is still wonderful.
