Black Paint Nikon S2 rangefinder with Black 50 1.4
Hello Nikon rangefinder fans. I just saw what looks like an original black paint Nikon S2 rangefinder with a black 50 1.4 in excellent condition at Blue Moon Camera and Machine in Portland, OR. Good deal? I don't know. Seems like it to me. I'm not getting anything out of it. I'm just a customer. The owner is Jake. Here's a link to their site. I believe they're asking $4000 for the body and lens. Anyway, just thought some of you might be interested.

considering Bobs book has a photo of a nikon s2 type 1 that is 3 numbers off of the one on the blue moon website,

was it a all black lens? web site says matching black lens but no serial number for the lens
