Photographer could lose job after unVailing skier
http://www.denverpost.com/news/ci_11398025
Quote:
A professional ski photographer who took snapshots of a middle-aged skier left dangling half nude from a Blue Sky Basin chairlift could lose his job.
Marty Odom, a photographer for SharpShooter Imaging, said Wednesday that he is trying to save his job but when asked whether he'll be able to do so he said, "I don't think so."
But in a posting to a snowboarding website, Odom wrote that "the photo is worth it."

Don't click here unless you actually want to see the photos. They're not pretty.

I don't know about losing his job, but those pictures are a bit humiliating. I imagine it would be a little scary to be trapped like that.

I dont think taking a photo like this on his freetime should have anything to do with his job.

True enough - but I went looking for a recent thread on German made vaporizers and surprisingly it's "disappeared" (whether by the OP or by a mod).. and that thread actually had images from an M8 ... I wonder what happened to that thread.... hmmmmmmmmm
Curious,
Dave

Well, I think s/he should be fired! These photos missed the decisive moment, lack composition and there is zero eye contact with the subject.

Like it or not, the photo and story did make national coverage in the USA. It was on the Today show and on a local news radio's web site.

Hear, hear!
I am repeatedly amused by this portal's whimsical censorship policies.

NO, he is not uptight, He is probably looking for a way to profit (throught the courts) for his embarassment. Maybe it was a stunt that went bad. I am sure a member of the legal commity has already contacted him offering to represent him.
