M4-2 and Summarit-M 35 2.5. 8x10 print.

Summer in South Ontario is hot, stinky and short. To operate swimming pool here it costs up to 5K per season. We don't have one at home...

Thank you, Dear Helen!

I never asked M4-2, but she seems to be fine to deal with Summarit 35 2.5.

But I don't think what M4-P is happy with J-12 marriage. In fact, I have them separated. I have one DSLR lens which I need to get rid off and purchase Elmarit 28 to treat M4-P adequately.

The lens is Summarit 35 2.5, but I don't remember if M4-2 or M4-P. I need different lens for M4-P

Still trying to get Leica lens for Leica M4-P. Some Leica made lenses and M film cameras are not expensive anymore comparing to some fancy digital cameras with cropped sensors and some AF lenses with questionable build (also used).

M4-2, Summarit-M 35 2.5.

Total crap here outdoors, indoors weather.

Thank you, Talus.

So, on Saturday (hot and humid) I was printing, but decided to try it the bathroom and set it on the toilet

Couple of prints from this session.

Taken near local lake with M4-2 and Summarit 35 2.5.

After printing for four hours I get cold (it was AC vent, which I opened too much).

Thank you!

So, after letting go of FF DSLR and 50 1.2 lens, I was able to give my Canadian Leicas some more lenses.
Three more to be exact. Canadian Elmarit-M 28 2.8 III and German Summaron 35 3.5, plus Cron Rigid.

I placed them in line with lenses I already have and took this double picture.

Rangefinder lenses. by Kostya Fedot, on Flickr

Canadian 28 2.8 detached its plastic focus tab on me at very first day and roll of film. I finished roll, took lens apart and re-attached the tab...
Jupiter-3 is for FED-2 and my two Canadian Leicas now have four M-mount lenses to share.

M4-P with Elmarit-M 28 2.8 and Kentmere 400 @1600.

Enjoy your 28 and rigid, two of my favorite lenses !

Thank you, Roland. I like this tree-in-tree picture.
Haven't developed anything from Rigid yet, it will be interesting to see how it will compare to Collapsible I've had before.
Cheers, Ko.

Compilation of four prints. Pictures were taken in Golden Horseshoe Region of Ontario. I used old Ilfospeed Deluxe 3 RC paper for prints. Lenses were Rigid Cron and Summaron 35 3.5. Film was Kentmere 100.

BTW, now M4-P doesn't want to wear anything but fatty Canadian Elmarit-M 28. I think, it makes her looks slimmer.

M4-2 with Summarit 35 2.5.

This week I learned about M3 Leica cameras assembled in Canada. Sounds like good camera for Canadian 50mm...

They say it is going to be +27 C tomorrow. I'm sick of it...
This one was taken on +40 C day on Queen Street W. Toronto. I walked by them, returned and took one I need.

Wonderful series. I just picked up 10 rolls of Kentmere 100. Love the look you get from it. I think this will be a suitable replacement to Kodak Plus X for me. What are you developing it with if I may ask? I have HC-110 & D-76.

The Kentmere 100 is ISO 100 film I use most. I'm using only HC-110 for all films.
hcB in 18-20C for 8 minutes. I'm not very precise.

Your doing a fantastic job Kostya. Good to see times for Kentmere on the Massive Dev. Chart. When I first started to by Kentmere 400 a few years back I couldn't find any info. You & Pesphoto (rff member) are the only two I can recall who shoots it.

Thank you, Greg! I order it from BH and it isn't very big difference from HP5+, which is really good one. For daylight street photography at 400 Kentmere is good enough. I only need HP5+ for ISO 1600 now.

M3 ELC, J-3, RPX400 and old Agfa RC 8x10 paper. Taken on this November at University street in Toronto.

I don't know about the book, but I do some writings to get it off from my head.
This one from today post on FB:

In Canada we came in 2003 it was the Bay and Zellers owned and operated by Canadians. Now Zellers is gone, the Bay was sold to Americans and Ontario teachers calling it PA day because this Friday is Black in Canada. Last year, they say, local sales on BF went over of amount of purchases on BD. If we became USA outskirts with Walmart as the general store and with USA local news as something major for Canadian media, it is time to abolish meaningless Civic Day holiday, move it to Remembrance Day and have Thanksgiving united in America! Happy Thanksgiving, to US and all!
