I use my M2 considerably more than my Leotax F but love them both for different reasons. I sometimes take both out with different focal length lenses on each to save the hassle of changing lens. My Topcor-S 5cm f2 pretty much lives on the Leotax where as the M2 has either CZ 35f2 or 25f2.8 .

The M8 and M9 use M lenses, so they are M cameras, I guess.

Leica M6. Occasionally, a IIIF with the Heliar 15mm on it.

LTM because the price of admission is lower. Plus, more variety in manufacturers.

Not that I don't aspire to getting an M kit some day.

Yes I did see Servo's quality reply, and fully understand as to why you question this 15 year olds problems. I seen were he did this before and refuse to reply to his questions.

I voted for M because I have used M1 and M6 Leicas.

Does "LTM" stand for Leica Thread Mount?

I have and use both M and LTM bodies, but I probably use the LTM more.

I generally use my body. I'd love to use that handsome twenty year old swimmer's body, but he's not loaning it out.

Oh .... camera body. Oops. I have Ms. :-)

I use my M2 constantly and my LTM Leotax F just occasionally. I do need to use the Leotax more, it's a great Leica copy, no special features other than its superb Topcor 50mmF2

LTM - IIIf and IIIg. I have an M2-R in my desk drawer but I haven't used it in several years.

I like to shoot with my IIIc and my Leica II but, most of my film photos have come from a M3, M4 or M6.

I use my M bodies most of the time; but I take the LTMs when I want extreme compactness.

Interesting - why do you stick to LTM?

I don't have a Leica M so I have no choice. I shoot a IIIf alternately with a Bessa-R depending on mood and circumstance. And I have resisted getting a Leica M . . . I'm not sure I have a good reason for that.
