Apple Aperture 3.3

Am I correct in saying that the X-Pro1 isn't supported in Apple's Aperture 3.3?

But it does support the X-100. Don't the X-100 and X-pro1 have the same raw format?

No. The sensors are from a similar family but are different, and the calibrations are different.

That did surprise me as I was about to buy a copy for my MacBook Pro. I gave Adobe a hard time for the length of time they took to fix Lightroom 4 's bugs and get the X-Pro1 supported, but what's taking Apple getting Aperture compatible.

Remeber. The Raw-Converer is not part or Aperture but part of Apple Mac OS. So it's just a matter of time when apple will release a new camera support and you apple (incl. Aperture) will be able to process X-Pro raw files.

Kind of like support of Sigma cameras, which I'm sure is just around the corner.

Apple has just released the Digital Camera Raw Compatibility Update 3.14, no support for the Fuji X1-Pro is available yet.
