Richard Franiec S90/95 Grip on Contax T3

Let's jump to the conclusion: it fits.

A minor sacrifice in portability for the drastically improved ergonomics.

Does it still fit in the (original) leather pouch?

NICE!! I've used Franiec grips for years now on my P&S Canons. The grips make the cameras sooooo much more 'grip-able'. Nice to see someone try one on a different camera. I wonder if it would work on my Barnack? :-)

Oh my. This makes the BEST 35mm P&S PERFECT. My only niggle with the T3 is the grip. Niggle negated.

Honestly I believe the ones made for round-cornered bodies like the EPM1 and J1 have a good chance of fitting on Barnacks.

The only problems are bottom loading and (occasional) self timers.

If thinking openly there are even more possibilities. I really would like to try one on a button rewind M2...

I hacked the D-Lux 4 grip to my D-Lux 3 with VASTLY improved ergonomics. I CAN'T WAIT to get this in- just ordered. Thank you Archlich!!!!!

Any reason why one of these would not work also? A lot cheaper as well.

It would cheapen the cache of a real Contax to put a Canon sticker on it

The same question would apply to every photogs using the Franiec grips. Why the more expensive one?

I, personally, prefer the Franiec grip for its alloy construction and elegant design.

Where is a good place to buy the grips?
I'm in the US...
Thanks!

Paul you can get them right from Richard here. Just mounted mine and it is a great match for the black version in both color and texture. And absolute perfection comes to the best 35mm P&S camera.
