Argus RF Forum for Argus RF nuts. The American made Argus C-3 may be the most prolific rangefinder, with over 3 million cameras produced! While American RF nutz of the 1950's may have yearned for a Leica, Zeiss, Canon or Nikon, most of them used an Argus !

Finder for 135mm Soligor

I've seen a few of the Argus C-3 mount Soligor lenses being sold (in fact, I just won one tonight), and wondered if any of you have ever seen a finder for it. I'm thinking of using my Zeiss 438, but would like to have something else to keep from splitting it off from my Contax kit. That, and the fact I could only mount the 438 on the C-3 bodies that have an accessory shoe.

I still haven't been able to source a finder, so I made a mask to use on my 35/100 finder.

This is just temporary until I can come up with a better design.
