In-production?

Hi folks - I just responded to a stupid article found (where else?) on-line. My response included a declaration that analog (film) cameras are in fact, still in production. I cited the example of M bodies from cameraquest.com.

But are these bodies in production, or just new old stock, that cameraquest has sourced? It's immaterial to my argument, since they are available, however.

Thanks,

John

All of the Bessa are no longer on production. The only M body on production (probably I'm wrong) as far as I know, is the MP.

Best regards.

You are right, they are in production...but they are at the end of their run. Or at least that is what I believe Stephen said about the R2m, R3m and R4m. Here's his quote...

M-A, MP and M7 are all listed on the Leica website, so it would appear all three film cameras are still in production.

Bessa R2M, R3M and R4M are still in production, still being made.
All are in stock new at the moment.

However the end has been announced and Voigtlander is apparently just fulfilling the last remaining orders.

So....get them while you can!
