i bought this as a starter lens...and never liked it very much. I ended up selling it as soon as i got my 40mm Summicron...didn't like the mechanics or the rendering very much. I had the MC....perhaps the SC is better?

M8.1 with CV 35mm F1.4 MC:

A shot at 1.4 from the SC on Tri X at 250 and pulled. I was shooting around 1/60th so it could be slightly sharper but the look is interesting. Focus was on the rear tire lettering:

Seattle

I was in Seattle in April with my wife. I'm still new to rangefinders and this lens, but I'm having fun with both.

Silvercall- welcome to the forum. To insert an image from flickr, just copy the url of its location and then click on the "insert image" icon on the message composition window (it looks like a little picture of sun and hills).

The URL will then authomatically be bookended by [IMG] tags. Like this:

By the way, your image is clear proof that the Nokton 35 1.4 is a terrible lens for architecture...look at all those curved lines!

Thanks :)

I've been a member here for a bit but have never had a chance to post anything. This thread is what led me to this lens in the first place. By the way, i swear those buildings were straight as an arrow...

Just bought this lens, and went with my girlfriend to Golden Gate Park this weekend to try it out. Shot a roll of Tri-X, developed in HC-110 B, and I'm absolutely blown away by the Nokton. For the price, it's a stunning lens. A few pics:
