Another minty ebay buy - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Olympus-35...#ht_1934wt_907

The mind boggles.

(or 35SP)

I sold a black 35SP for less than half that.

Hard to find 35UC on ebay... more rare than 35Sp

A seller named fotofila has a very unique Olympus 35SP listed for $349 US dollars. It is the last modification to the 35SP and is identical except for trim. It is the 35UC. He's a good seller (have dealt with him) and sells usually exceptional equipment. I have seen him list a number of Yashica CC and CCN models. Prices usually fair.

I don't know why this 35UC has not been snapped up, but once it's gone you may never see one on eBay again. This is the first and only OLympus 35UC i have ever seen on eBay. Found one at a camera dealer in Columbia SA once.

I have a few UC cameras, and yes, they are quite good.

eBay don't charge list fees so people can ask as much as they like. But it does not mean it will sell.

I've seen UCs on eBay before, but it's been several years ago.

eBay is becoming less and less of an auction site. You can pay a monthly fee and then list for free and pay far less % of the selling fee then just being someone who wants to sell one or two items a month.

I think stores pay the monthly fee and then list everything they have in store. The asking price depends on how badly they want to sell it (which seems not much at all).

I bought a nice Visoflex II from KEH for $88. They now have a Visoflex III for $202. Go check the eBay asking prices for these items.

That's absolutely preposterous! I have seen pricey black SPs, but I think this is the first time I see the more current chrome version being for such a price, in what seems to be less than NOS condition. Totally crazy!
