Kodachrome. Oh wait ... if you process your own b&w, then I'd suggest a 200 - 400 speed film due to the relative small aperture of the lens. Otherwise I'd suggest a a colour neg film that you can get processed quickly at Rite-Aid, CVS, Costco, etc., just to check basic function.

And one more with the "Promaster Spectrum 7" 75-200mm lens (never heard of that brand) that also came with it.

Also came with about $100 worth of Hoya Filters and a Tamrac soft bag.

Great pickup! That camera is as hot as Dana Delany (and probably shows about as much wear as she does these days) so you shouldn't feel bad for sharing some pr0n of it with the group.

Ooh, that's a nice find! I was never lucky enough to find a Nikon SLR kit for this little money. FE's are outstanding cameras. If you don't have fast Nikon glass, get yourself a cheap 50mm f1.8 and enjoy!

Alright I threw some Tri-X in it today and shot 16 frames.....

I never owned a FE before and I have to say it really is a pleasure to use.

Nice find. I agree with the suggestion to get a cheap prime lens. It will make an amazing lightweight street setup.

I will!

Hopefully I can trade some Minolta or Konica lenses I got for one....

I just spent way more money on Film so I got to take it easy.

I recommend the Nikon series E 50/1.8 for a very nice lightweight lens. You can probably find one for $50 or less.
