I did live on another planet called Japan for 8-years. It was a lovely experience, but then I moved back to Canada, which I found to my dismay is another weird planet too.

a future where film is plentiful and cheap. there are many brands, and they all make a livable profit while not pushing "niche market" pricing. digital shooters don't compete with analogue, and connoisseurs of both recognize the finer points of the other.

it isn't guaranteed, and in order to ensure it, i need your help.

A real tragedy. Almost impossible to comprehend. I knew two of the Aussies. So many Dutch lives, and children ...

Independently, via both my daughter and my son I know of a couple (man and wife) who were on board flight MH17. Exactly as our prime minister mentioned, everyone in the Netherlands knows of someone killed in the crash.

Sorry about the Netherlanders' grief...

Born in Guatemala (Central America), lived in the US (Illinois and Indiana), briefly residing in Spain in the 90s, back in the US since 2000.

So, I'm from Guatemala. But I can vote in the US elections!

Born in the USA (Brooklyn), I am also an Italian citizen (and can vote in Italian elections).
I checked "NorthAmerica", as my dream of moving to Italy has yet to come true (I think that only my ashes will make it there ).

I was born in Seattle. My Mother is Swiss and my Father is Syrian.
English was the third language growing up. You can tell sometimes by how I write
I've never visited Syria nor has my father been able to return since arriving here in 1961.

Indeed. One of the physiotherapists from the practice I go to every Wednesday was lost along with her boyfriend. Tragic.
