Electro 35 GL

Look what was waiting for me when arrived at work this morning. Can't wait to pop a roll of film in it and start shooting.

Handles much better than the original G series, and you don't have to worry about filter factors anymore. It's an enjoyable camera, almost as much as the GX.

1600ASA and the same lens, it's BETTER than the GX.

That's the great debate between the GL and the GX I guess. The viewfinder in the GL is amazing. Super big and super bright. Feels like a Cadillac. That sealed the deal for me. And feels a lot better made as well. Alas I haven't taken any shots with the GL yet. Still waiting on the battery adaptor to arrive. Film and actual battery are waiting in the wings.

Lovely camera! It's more compact than the GSN/GTN, isn't it?

Dimensions wise, it's between GSN and GX.

Well, I was refering to the way it handles, not it's mechanical capabilities. Don't get me wrong though, I like them both.

I know what you mean. In terms of aesthetics the black GX is the clear winner of all Electros, IMHO.
