Leica IIIc just serviced

My first shot taken with my IIIc that I put new curtains and half mirror in. Lens is the Summitar...

Initial shutter speeds were set using the crt monitor method found here http://phototipspro.com/articles/tes...tv-or-monitor/

then checked with an electronic tester. All speeds were within specs and did not need tweaking..

I reckon you got it right as the image looks very good. Is Mollie a relative or just a very patient subject?

It looks like a very good job you did. The half mirror came from another camera or did you re-coat yourself?

It's cool you DIYed it. I did my own split mirror on my IIIC, adjusted the speeds using the CRT (highs from 1/60th) and using a digital camera on B mode at the back of the shutter (Lows under 1/60th, shell removed).
One thing I did not yet do on any Leica is the Curtains. I'de love to see tutorial on this.

Nice pictures. How hard is it to replace the mirror on a IIIc ? I've been thinking about it but I'm worried about finding suprises if I remove the wrong screw.
