i misplaced the wires for my plustek 7600i...help!

i can't seem to find the usb 2.0, or the power plug for the scanner.

i know i can just buy another usb 2.0 wire (i mitt even have an extra one lying around). but what about the dc plug? could i buy a 3rd party 15v outlet? should it make a difference?

i seriously don't know what happened to them! i figured they would be in the bag, but they weren't in there. and they weren't with all my other wires!

ok, so i just found a usb 2.0 wire. but i'm not sure if its the one that came with the plustek, or not. its completely white, except for the usb part, which is black. can anyone confirm if this is the one provided by plustek?

still no sign of the dc plug though.

i'm not sure if i should look into those universal dc adapters. any suggestions/recommendations on these?

Power-wise you can use any 15V power adapter that has the same plug on the cable, has matching polarity, and delivers sufficient current. For example, there are universal power adapters for laptops that should do the job.

Those things should be printed on the label on the device, just take a picture of that and take it to an electronics store.

thanks guys!

the back of the plustek says 15V ---- 1.0A

do you think this one would do the job? http://www.walmart.com/ip/PowerLine-...-Port/16778839
