I was looking a some old Nikon F bodies and was wondering if
they have any parts on them that would fit the S2 and other
rangefinder's like the rear cover and other top plate parts?
I think the Nikon F shutter is identical to the SP shutter and so many parts interchange. The S2 is earlier and I have only heard of titanium shutter curtains from an F being put in an S2 altho there may be other parts that would fit. Outer body parts are quite different.
the shutter should be interchangeble, the top plates and rear covers are not, as the nikon S are smaller than the F's, not by much, but they are not interchangeble.
