I've recently bought the Nikon V1 and twin lens kit with some Christmas money which was burning a hole in my pocket. So far I've been very impressed. The system is very lightweight compared to my Olympus four thirds kit and to be honest I don't see a lot of difference in the photos. I've printed up to 18"x12" which is as large as I'm likely need and the results have been very impressive. Here are a few recent pictures fron the Isle of Skye.

Here are another two from my Nikon V1 (also from the Isle of Skye). The more I use this camera the more I like it.

Another couple from the marvelous Nikon V1. The light weight of this camera outfit means that I am actually taking it with me all the time and so am having more photo opportunities as a result.

I hate that name, I always expect photos from the Nikon One film camera, not a digital camera.

Anybody own a real Nikon One?

I have two questions about this little camera. What does the 10-30 kit lens equate to in 35mm? How is the viewfinder?

28-80mm equivalent. The crop factor for Nikon 1 is 2.7x.

The EVF is very good, considering that you can get V1 with its kit for less than $300 today.

I guess, the "V1" will be the next cam I buy. With the price you can snag it at ATM, I need to have one.
Had the chance to shoot with one twice and it really was impressive!
