I'm a bit late in getting to this, but I was the lucky boy who snapped up his beautiful Minolta XG-M complete with 50/2 lens. Great communication, packed and shipped fast, and a fantastic camera gotten at a fantastic price. Thanks, Jon.

I bought Ben's Industar-61, which came in great shape (I don't think it even needs relubing) for a steal, and shipped fast. I'm psyched.

Bought my J-12 in Kiev mount and promptly sent a money order. Thanks, Karl.

Thomas-Michael was a pleasure to deal with, great communications, fast payment, couldn't have asked for a better gentleman to deal with. Now if we could only just get rid of customs ;-) Thanks and enjoy the M2.

What a good idea hoot had.

I shipped off a filter to him last week, no trade and not a lot of $ money involved. Instead of going the Paypal route, which would involve some fees, I exchanged the filter for a small web gift certificate to amazon.com. Not a lot of $ like I said, but free to buyer and seller from fees, and always useful.

A good idea and another way to make trade work here.

Thanks hoot

Phil brought me much joy with his express mail-order pancake. Generous, very easy to deal with, arrived early, well-packed and mint just like he said. If tries out and thinks better of any other lenses I covet, I'd PM him in a heartbeat.

I recently bought a Bessa R2 + 35/2.5 lens from TorontoTom. He was an excellent communicator who patiently answered all of my questions (boy did i have a TON of them ) and even gave me his phone number to finalize the "deal." Even having to deal with international shipping and the amount of time it takes (he's in Canada, I'm in US, I sent a money order, he sent regular Canadapost), things went off without a hitch. The camera is in the same condition as the seller described it to be. Man i love this camera! Thanks tom!

COMMENT: Great guy. Hexar RF was exactly as described, every nick and spec of dust was mentioned as was the very minor vertical RF misalignment. He was very flexible and understanding with alternative payment options, quick to ship and return emails, even though he was traveling all week. I couldn't be happier with the camera or the transaction.

Tom is a great buyer--followed through with a money order payment and kept me informed of mailing date and receipt of his package.

Ferdinand insisted on meeting in person so I could check out the M4-2 and lens first hand and know what I was getting. A super honest guy and a great resource for digital imaging info.

Bought a Crumpler bag from him. Fast shipping and exactly as described, a smooth deal all around.

Because of logistics, I shipped a finder to Wayne before receiving payment. He had the m.o. in the mail immediately after we made a deal. I appreciate the class shown by buyers and sellers alike in every transaction I've had on RFF.

it's amazing the amount of trust shown here by some of the members.
i also have had gear shipped to me before they had received my payment, in essence we were both taking the same risk (not just the buyer).

lots of good people here...
