Olympus 35 RC focusing ring

Hi Folks,

I have an Olympus 35 RC which I love using. I recently shot a roll of Fujifilm Acros 100 with it and was well pleased with the combination of camera and film.

One thing, the focusing ring is quite loose and I sometimes find that the focusing shifts without me noticing. Has anyone else come across this problem and is it easily fixable?

Best wishes
Stuart

Welcome Stuart,
Mine is not that stiff, but neither loose as you say
I am not good at repairing but certainly the experts will soon come to the rescue.
Alas it is a long time that I am not using the nice RC and neither any of my film cameras
I tried to slim my collection but to no avail.
Here in Italy I guess the martphones rule more than in any other place
Best wishest to you too
Paul

Hi Paul, thank you - I know what you mean about trying to slim your camera collection, sometimes you are just too tempted. I've just bought a black Trip35 on ebay, been looking for one for ages, couldn't resist!

Best wishes
Stuart

Mine was loose, not as loose as yours. I had it fixed.
