Another Kodak Retinette: the IIA

Each time I shot with a Kodak Retinette I'm amazed by the quality of these (supposed) lower level cameras (respect to Retinas).
Apart from the ease of use... (in this case the lightmeter is coupled), the best part of Retinette are the lenses. The Reomar 45mm f/2,8 is really a very nice, sharp and correct lens, both in the Schneider Kreuznach or Rodenstoch versions.
So, is always nice to walk around with these simple but affordable and effective cameras....

I purchased Retina 1a in 1967. Twenty five years later a 11a came into my stable. These are the best lens I have. Including Leica, Nikon and Canon. None better.

I wouldn't be so drastic but... Reomar is a great lens for sure...
