Steve, welcome to the TLR user club!
TLR shooting is quite binary, either you love it, or don't get it.

I particularly like the "bird watching" in your photo.

Hi & welcome, Steve!

Isn't it a surprise to find such a good Rollei forum on a RF site?

Hi Lynn, great wave shot with the heavy sky. The sky could be out of an early painting. Allan

My first TLR was a Ricoh Auto 66 that I bought at a close-out for $29.95 in 1968 or '69. It didn't prove to be very durable, but I enjoyed it very much while it lasted. Still have good negatives of my young family from it.

$18 Ikoflex

I just had to share this result. I recently picked up a nice little Zeiss Ikon Ikoflex 1a for $18. This was from the first roll of film. It will need a bit of cleaning and I certainly am going to need a hood for the uncoated lens, but I think it will work.

I agree -- and an amazingly cooperative squirrel! Tough to get the Rolleinars in focus sometimes, since the DOF is so narrow. Congrats.
