Robert, those are lovely black and whites! And Raid, seeing and enjoying your beach pics from a couple weeks back makes me realize how different our water/beach experiences are! The terrain from one end of the country to the other could not be more different

This is my usual swim the dog spot, but clouds were dramatic the past couple of weeks so here is what I found.

Always Alpe Devero, with the Leioca X1.Unfortunately the camera has a serious dust on sensor problem and to have it cleaned it is necessary to send it to Germany...more expensive than the commercial value of the camera itself

More beautiful scenery! Robert, you seem to have a talent for finding these locations... This photo catches my attention as did the others.

Dust. I have no idea what cleaning should cost but I imagine if you bought another new Leica digital, the depreciation over a year would be more than a cleaning of the X1. Let us know what you work out!

Thanks Dave, my wife and me like to go hunting for out of time locations...sometimes!

As for the dust problem expected cost is around 400 EUR (it was last time I did it). For the moment I solved the problem shooting film. A new sensor each photo!

robert

PS: but beside my film cameras I like to have a small digital for easy of use...maybe a preowned T with the 23 F2 ....and an adapter for M lenses....
