Experience Purchasing from Leica Shop? (Austria)

Hi all,

I'm in the market for a couple of vintage Leica lenses and came across Leica Shop. The site seems legit but I'm a little hesitant due to their distance/obscurity.

Anyone have successful experiences shopping there?

No issues whatsoever buying from them. Bought a Zeiss lens from them, would do it again.

Just bought a grip for a Leica R 280mm f2.8 from them. It took them about 5 days before it shipped, but everything else went perfectly.

Excellent place - they have a great inventory and rate quite conservatively. It's also one of / the biggest place for Leica auctions. I've bought several lenses from them and was always very satisfied.

I bought a Summar lens from them, first rate service and good price. The item description is spot on.

Far from obscure, big well known business and their auction business, Westlicht, achieves world press. Look 'em up. http://www.westlicht-auction.com/index.php?id=3&L=1

Have both bought and sold. All fine.

Obscurity? It is one of the most famous places to buy Leicas in EU! They are the owners of Westlicht, the auction house that regularly scores record leica prices in the news, and I recall they are somehow related directly to Leica (maybe Leica Camera bought them some years ago? I don't remember). If something, their prices sometimes are on the high side...

I purchased a 90mm Summicron R from them some years back. Their prices were high then, but they offered lots of pictures, their condition rating was conservative, the product was excellent and the shipping (international) was quick.
