The Voigtländer S Skopar 50mm f/2.5 is great on the S2 because even with the shade mounted you don't have the slightest cut off in the finder.

Agree on the 50mm Skopar, suits this camera well, a great walkaround lens and camera combination.
Sharp, especially with Pyrocat HD as here, on Adox Silvermax.

But then a classic Zeiss f1.5 Sonnar (re-issue) isn't so bad:
