I can't imagine it would be for a niche camera like the GR, but then again... they aren't making this camera to get rich. Interesting.

Just stupid if they do this. Improve the AF and update the sensor. That's all that's needed

Pramodh, I don't think they'd do this only but as a separate unit. I don't think it is stupid to have options.

I wouldn't mind b&w gr. Although, might be the only digital I own, would most likely want a color one.

I would definitely get a monochrome GR if the price was reasonable. Not sure how much more the new sensor would add to the cost of the camera.

Bearing in mind that Ricoh now have Pentax too, and I don't see anything that mentions any models, we're just guessing that this is GR related right?
