camera parts/spares

Inspired by the generosity of a member, I thought it might be a good idea for those who have parts cameras/junkers, to list them in case another member needs a part for repair, and to send needed parts for free or for cost of shipping.

Posting to this thread should only be a list of cameras/parts available, not requests for certain parts. Communication should be done by PM, again, not in this thread. (I'll remove posts not following the rules for this thread.)

I'll start (or rather, continue). Junker cameras I have available for parts are:
Canon Canonet GIII QL
Canon AE-1

I have...

Nikon F2 chrome...winder side body tin is dented in several places, rewind side & bottom plate are decent (usable)...there are still a bunch of parts left on this one but I doubt it will ever shoot again...

Pentax Spotmatic SP 1000...complete camera but does not work...body wise it looks nice...

Olympus 35-S II (48mm 2.8 E. Zuiko lens)...Complete camera but front rangefinder glass piece is out of the camera (I have it but it's not mounted) not too sure if rangefinder is working or not...lens in great shape, body and most parts in good usable condition...

BTW very nice idea...

Oly 35SPn - it's all there (I think), but has a big paint flake inbetween the lens elements - front plate stripped off, so needs rebuild. Top plate badly scarred but useable

Canter Beauty. Takes nice photos but the patch is very faint. Cosmetically beat up. Shutter failed to fire once or twice but I think that may have been user error (shutter speed was in the dead middle between speeds) - not sure.

Wirgin Auta. Film plane doesn't seem great, Lens may be slightly hazy but still takes nice photos. Bellows touched up.

(Shipping to Crazy Fedya) Industar 22 w/very scratched up front element.

Seattle, WA here

Edit: May be worth noting locations due to shipping cost. There've already been posts I'd jump all over but I'll leave it to people closer.

These aren't really spares, but rather cameras and associated bits'n'bobs in need of some TLC. I bought them as project cameras, but Fate (and three little bundles of destruction) have thankfully kept me from screwing 'em up.

Up for grabs:

2 x old-model Zeiss Ikon Contaflex Super - one has a knackered meter and caps at 1/500s; the other has a sticky shutter and a strange habit of double-counting frames. Both show slightly stiff operation and a general need for a good thorough clean. Both come with ERCs (one with a strap attached) and 50mm f/2.8 Tessars. There's also a 35mm f/3.2 Pro-Tessar that looks pretty clean, and an 85mm f/4 Pro-Tessar that has extensive separation around the edge of the front elements, but which nonetheless won't affect photos.

Extra accessories are:
- vomit-scented Ikoblitz 4 (I think that's the plastic itself - it looks clean otherwise);
- A28.5 Proxar filter set (0.2, 0.3, 0.5, and 1m, in case with DoF dial on the back);
- S27 Proxar 0.1m;
- S27 UV;
- S60 UV;
- S60 rubber hood for the 85mm.

It'll have to go to someone who can pick it up on a weekday from near Aldgate, London - but if you want the set and can make it, all it'll cost you is a little time.

Konica Auto S2 - broken aperture (but bot sets of blades and speed mechanism is OK), missing beamsplitter, VF rear piece (given to someone). Ask for particular parts and I'll take a look.

If the glass lenses clean I would take it with you.

lots of stuff!

OK, lots of stuff.
Sorry, but continental US shipping only. I’ll try and ship them as cheaply as possible via USPS. Take these off of my hands! I have pics of most of this if you are interested.

Olympus 35 RC disassembled.
The shutter was jammed. I tried to take it apart but I couldn’t get the body screws out. Either they are stripped or corroded or both. Before the shutter jammed, the meter didn’t work.

Yashica Electro 35 G
Something is wrong with the focus – the ring is not attached to the rangefinder. The battery compartment is corroded. Comes with a case.

Minolta Riva Zoom 125
With box and remote
This probably works! I put batteries in and it powers up.

Olympus Infinity Zoom 230
This probably works! I put batteries in and it powers up.

Kodak Vigilant 620 Dakon
The shutter works but I think there are holes in the bellows. 620 film.

Kodak Brownie Bull’s-Eye
Don’t know if this works or not. 620 film.

Dejur Zoom Electra 8mm
Dusty and probably not working

Argus M3 8mm
Dusty and probably not working

Yashica EZ Matic
With case. 126 film. Don’t know if it works.

Ansco Viking Dissasembled
Shutter didn’t work – I think it is missing a spring. Focusing glass was stuck.

Vivitar zoom lens for Nikon non-ai 85-205mm f3.8
Lens is dirty. Works, though.

Kodak k400 vr35
Probably works. 38mm f5.6 lens.

Kodak 35 RF
I don’t remember what is wrong with this, but it doesn’t work.

A friend at work performed some dumpster diving for me and gave me the following cameras: Canon Powershot A720 IS; Nikon Coolpix 995; Nikon Coolpix 950; and a Nikon Coolpix 5400.

All are missing batteries except the Nikon Coolpix 5400, and there are no chargers. I assume they all work and were just excessed. I work at a medical school/ hospital in New York.

Best available for free via pick up in NYC. PM to make arrangements.

NO LONGER AVAILABLE. SHIPPED TO NEW OWNER.

Cal

Available is Minolta X-300s with a broken mirror--no lens. Overall the body is very clean and the only thing that appears broken is the mirror.

No background on this camera, except that a friend found it being disposed of at the University where I work. Available for free, you just pay postage. Will likely fit in a USPS $6.50 flat rate box.

Have a busted black Olympus Trip 35. Lens elements not available, but selenium cell and rest of parts should work.

I have a Canon AE-1 Program (Chrome body) that I bought from a thrift store just for the lens...it's about 99% there, the shutter fires, the battery door is broken, the base plate (plastic) is also broken by the winder contacts, focusing screen looks good, grip missing, curtains look clean...
If you have a dead AE-1 Program this one could be put back in service...
Don't really want to cannibalize this body so if you can use the whole thing let me know...
