Leica Noctilux 1.0 vs. 0.95 - different focus throw?

I just found myself a 58mm filter thread Leica 50mm Noctilux f/1. I find that the long focus throw is something that I don't really enjoy, and was wondering if there's any difference with the new one. Does it still have the same long throw?

As the DOF is so tiny, accurate focus is a must, therefore a short throw like e.g. the 2/75 apo would not work with 1.0, even less with 0.95. But I haven't handled a Noct asph.

The ASPH Noctilux has a shorter focus throw. But if you want a Noctilux the F1 is the one to get in my opinion, otherwise just get the 50mm 1.4 ASPH.

Fully agree.
The f1 has an incredible character that makes it so unique.
The 0.95 is no doubt a more technically up to date lens but atleast to my eyes, renders like a canon 135 f2 L

If you want a very short focus throw, do look at the Nokton 50/1.1

I have a copy and the priceerformance ratio is hard to beat
