X-Pro2 Viewfinder Diopter

It appears that, as usual, Fuji's XP2 viewfinder doesn't adjust far enough on the plus side. I wonder if the eyepeice screws out so that the XP1's round diopters can be placed?

There's nothing in the literature that I can find which would answer my question.

I guess nobody knows.

Or cares.

Any XP2 owner care to try unscrewing the eyepiece? Don't break anything!

Sorry I'm not going to take my XP2 apart!

However, I doubt that the XP1 eye piece will fit... I bought my XP2 and a new XP1 eye piece direct from Fuji

I collected in person and they told me (without knowing that I already had a XP1) "you know that dioptre lens won't fit your XP2 don't you?"

So unless Fuji are wrong (which happens) then no

Thanks, Adam.

About as I thought. Nikon usually only goes to +1 or +2 also, but you can still fit a supplementary diopter to the eyepiece which gives you a big range. Fuji has written me off for the X-Pro2.
